Behind every successful company are dedicated and talented individuals who drive progress and growth. Our employee spotlight series is all about introducing you to the exceptional members of the Reveel family. Get to know their unique backgrounds, discover their contributions, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture that makes Reveel a remarkable place to work.
How would you summarize what you do?
Across multiple communication platforms, I bring awareness and drive interest in Reveel’s shipping solutions for potential clients, as well as book demos for my Sales team.
What makes you want to stay at our organization?
The culture and people I work with.
What do you like about our company culture?
Truly living our core values and experiencing working with teams abroad, even having opportunities to connect in-person, helps with bonding.
Can you tell us a few details about the favorite part of your job?
When someone replies to my email saying “I don’t usually respond to these messages, but…” and agrees to a demo, that feeling is incredibly rewarding. Securing that first meeting shows the power of persistent and thoughtful outreach. Overcoming hardened mindsets is part of the challenge, achieving acceptance is my motivation.
What does your daily routine look like?
Mornings at my house are pretty busy packing lunches for my husband and getting the kids ready and off to school. Then it’s time to switch gears to work mode! My days at Reveel fly by between checking emails and calls, chatting with coworkers on Slack, connecting with people on LinkedIn, and squeezing in breaks to stay sharp. In the evenings, I put my mom hat back on to help with homework, shuttle my son to soccer practice, or craft with my daughter – then make dinner as a family <3
Tell us the most significant project you’ve handled and how it has impacted our company?
Optimizing our outbound messaging for specific buyer personas. As part of the collaborative BDR team, I leverage my strengths in crafting compelling content to develop new email sequences. Our targeted content helps our prospects across different roles connect with how we can solve their problems. These improved emails have driven more revenue opportunities. Our cross-team collaboration and messaging sharpened our ability to convey relevance to each prospect, and I’m talking about hybrid ideas from the whole team!
How does your current job compare with the previous jobs you’ve had?
This is way more enjoyable, from corporate to a startup – in previous jobs I had to deal with troubles and quality issues, being reactive instead of proactive, putting out fires, and pushing people internally to get the job done, so, when I joined Reveel it was a breeze. I was amazed at the team of talented people I’m surrounded with, there’s no stress, everyone is doing their best and going above and beyond to provide the best-in-class product and solution for the industry.
What things stood out for you about our management team?
They’re the coolest bosses I’ve ever had, and I trust them, they’re wide open to listen to any concerns or ideas, and I’m not afraid to speak up about anything.
Which company values resonate with you the most?
Transparency. Since day one at Reveel, open communication has created trust and empowerment. This candor continues with our customers – their feedback praises our candid approach and desire to truly help. Knowing our solutions bring visibility further motivates me to reach more prospects with that sense of helping them.
What have been your most significant achievements working for our company?
Opening doors to major companies I never expected to access. Landing these key accounts as a viable option for their needs has been my proudest accomplishment here so far.
Who inspires you the most within our organization?
Chad – the coolest person I’ve met, and happens to be the founder of this company.
Which work benefit or perk is your favorite and why?
Working from home has given me TIME – To have the chance to take my kids to school, and wait for them with a hot meal on our table and eat together, is something priceless. The time to spend with my family instead of being stuck in traffic, living in a hectic city, is something I won’t trade again soon.
What’s unique about working for our organization?
Our upbeat, collaborative culture blends talented perspectives, making us more than the sum of our parts. It’s a winning recipe.
Describe how you’ve grown professionally since you started working for us.
I’ve honed invaluable sales and communication abilities. Learning to navigate our tech stack – including sales tools, has made me adept at optimizing workflows. The need for rapid adaptation in a quick-changing startup environment has strengthened my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Representing a disruptive technology product in the traditional parcel space has challenged me to become more creative in my pitching and messaging. Most importantly, facing rejection has expanded my resilience and determination.
What is the most difficult challenge you’ve experienced working for us?
Cold calling as a rookie, definitely.
Given the opportunity, what would you like to ask our CEO?
There’s always an opportunity to ask anything, there’s no barrier, but always time from him to us in our weekly meetings or our watercoolers.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Most of all, I aim to maintain perspective, presence and gratitude – recognizing blessings big and small while always striving for balance, joy and purpose in all I do.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who wants to work for us?
Stay true to who you are. Lead with positivity and authenticity, avoid pretense, and trust that your unique talents can make a meaningful impact.
What’s the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
I’m excited to test a new initiative to maximize the value of our existing case studies. We’re strategically targeting companies in industries where we have successful examples that demonstrate our unique value – all grounded in our authentic experiences with clients.
What skill do you think everyone should learn?
Excel. It’s an invaluable skill that pays dividends across many roles and industries. I highly recommend taking the time to become proficient at Excel – it’s one of those skills that can serve you over and over again throughout your career.
What motivates you?
The constant learning, hearing people’s ideas to get new strategies, taking on new projects, and dealing with change. I like when things evolve and I have to grow and adjust. The chance to keep gaining skills and view things in new ways motivates me.
